Someone has paid me through the CommBank app. How do I collect the payment?

If you're registered for the CommBank app, all payments sent to you using your mobile number will be deposited directly into your default deposit account.

If you're not registered for the CommBank app you can collect your payment by visiting www.commbank.com.au/collect.  This is a secure CommBank website where you can collect your payments.

You'll need the following when collecting a payment:

  • The payment code (the person making the payment will need to pass this on to you);
  • Your mobile number; and
  • Your Australian BSB and account number.

Please take care when you enter your BSB and account number as you may not be able to recover a payment made to an incorrect account.

Note:

  • The payment code is not case sensitive.
