How will the recipient know that I’ve sent them a payment through the CommBank app?

When you send a payment to the mobile number of a registered CommBank app user, the funds will be deposited directly into the recipient’s default deposit account within 1 business days – they won’t receive any notification.
If your recipient isn’t a CommBank app user, they’ll receive an SMS notifying them that you have sent a payment.
The recipient then needs to collect their payment within 14 calendar days.
