Graduate Recruitment Program

The Analytics (Retail Banking Services) stream offers an 18-month head office program and includes four structured rotations (Insights, Advanced Analytics, Data Science and Risk) designed to make you a well-rounded Analytics professional.

Insights rotation: During your Insights rotation you will help solve problems and work on strategic projects. Here you’ll work through complex data sets to find insights that can be used for everyday decision making.

Advanced Analytics rotation: Within your Advanced Analytics rotation you can help build models and apply technical skills to optimise business decision making. Here you can use advanced algorithms to help your stakeholders understand what their next steps should be.

Data Science rotation: Within Data Science you’ll use cutting-edge tools and techniques to make smarter decisions faster – everything from computer science, statistics and machine learning to deep learning and business analysis to extract valuable insights from large structured and unstructured datasets.

Risk rotation: During your Risk rotation you’ll develop fundamental risk capabilities that will equip you to make more sound business decisions during your career in Analytics at CommBank.

You will form part of a broader cohort under the RBS stream, which also incorporates our Commercial and Digital graduates. In addition to your four analytics rotations, you’ll have the opportunity to work with this broader cohort and get direct exposure to our customers through our branch network and call centres as well as through other unique problem-solving and project experiences.

Your program includes tailored development to enhance your technical capability with the use of analytical tools such as R, SQL, SAS and Teradata, in conjunction with vast datasets to deliver actionable analytical insights. Your program also includes multiple professional development opportunities, including interactive masterclasses, training courses and graduate conferences. These collaborative sessions will enable you to develop leadership capabilities, and enhance your presentation skills and critical thinking.

You’ll be exposed to topics such as emotional intelligence, resilience and leading through change, which will prepare you for success during the program and beyond.

We have roles available in Sydney for the Analytics program.
