Whether you want to design security for customer products, build cutting edge security technology, perform security testing, detect and respond to cyber-attacks, provide input into regulatory uplifts or future-proof security for Australia's leading online bank, you’ll find yourself challenged and curious to learn more.
Your rotations
You'll gain access to world-class technical and development resources to help you expand your skills.
Our 12–18-month program offers you a tailored experience over 2-3 rotations within either the Cyber or Security Engineering streams. We'll support you in navigating our cyber organisation, where you’ll gain exposure to areas including; Cyber Identity & Protection Management, Cyber Defence Operations & Cyber Governance, Compliance, Resilience & Recovery, amongst the many functions of our Group Security teams.

When you apply to the Engineering pathway, your 12-month program includes two rotations aimed at developing your engineering skills and broadening your experience. You’ll work closely with Engineering Managers, Distinguished Engineers and Chief Engineers who will inspire and guide you. Our program also encourages you to build strong bonds and support networks with graduates, alumni and leaders across technology to help you achieve your goals.

Your rotations

You can gain exposure in data science, behavioural science, quantitative & predictive modelling, Gen AI & machine learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLMs), data engineering, and more.
Your development & experience
Kick-start your learning journey with a bespoke Data Science and AI Essentials Bootcamp & Modelling Project. You will learn foundational machine learning and advanced Gen ai technical skills, gain access to the latest tools and approaches to Data Science at the bank. You’ll then work on a real business problem while being coached and mentored by practitioners who are known across the industry for their incredible thought leadership and experience.
During your first year, you will be part of a group-wide learning program to build your professional, organisational and leadership skills. You’ll also join a huge network of technology graduates, supported by managers focused on your personal and professional growth.
As you progress your career there are a variety of career paths available including Individual Contributor, Technical Leader and People Leader.
