Our programs

Graduate Program

Our Technology program covers three streams:

In this program you’ll have the opportunity to rotate between any of these streams.

You will contribute to our technology and operations innovations within industry-leading teams while you’re supported and empowered to navigate and invigorate your career.

Our flexible 18-month program gives you the option to rotate across either complementing or widely varying teams. So whether you want to fast-track into a specialist role or discipline, broaden your expertise or simply ‘try something on for size’, you'll have the opportunity to tailor the career you want while we support you in navigating our vast tech landscape.

If you aspire to join our exceptional teams of cyber security professionals who protect and educate our customers, are motivated to work with stakeholders across the business and ready to take on a new challenge, then this is the stream for you.

You only need to apply for the one program, with an indication of which stream you’d like to start in. Once you start, we’ll work with you to tailor the program to you.

Where could the Program take you?

The possibilities for our tech cohort is ever-expanding. For Cyber this includes:

  • Ethical Hacking (pen test)
  • Intel
  • Incident Response
  • Application Security
  • Detection Engineering
  • Outreach

Here are just some of the roles our grads have transitioned into or have been performing from day one:

  • Cyber Security Advisor
  • Penetration Tester
  • Group Cyber Compliance Consultant
  • Business Analyst
  • Security Engineer
  • Cyber Intel Associate
  • Digital Forensic eDiscovery Analyst

Roles available for Cyber are based in Sydney, Melbourne, Perth and Brisbane.

Summer Intern Program

During our 10-week Summer Intern Program you’ll receive training and networking opportunities, be supported by a buddy and get the chance to hone your skills in technology, including engineering (software, systems, data or machine learning), native mobile, architecture, infrastructure, cloud, cyber, strategy, delivery and operations.

Given the breadth and diversity of our tech makeup, we support you to identify a team that suits your existing capability and study interests, while providing meaningful challenges and exposure across our tech and operations platforms.

What we look for

Our diverse teams look for many different qualities in graduates. You are dedicated to creating a better experience for our customers, and also passionate about technology, the simplification of processes and organisational change.

You are an innate problem-solver and curious about the world around you. We believe in using the right tool for the job, so an open mind to learn new tech stacks, languages and frameworks will go a long way.

We’re open to degrees across STEAM disciplines. Most of our Cyber graduates have completed a degree in one or a blend of the following:

  • Security
  • Computer Science
  • Science
  • Engineering
  • Information Systems
  • Information Technology

If you have an underlying passion for Cyber and appetite to work in a highly complex and fast-changing business, we have many career pathways that aren’t dependent on your discipline degree.

As well as the opportunity to work with industry-leading teams on cutting-edge technologies on our best-in-class platforms, the benefits of our Graduate Program include:

  • Training and development: Gain access to important technical and development resources to help you expand your skills and knowledge during your graduate program and beyond.
  • Support: You’ll be supported by the teams you work in and senior management. Our teams encourage learning and will take time to ensure you have the information and resources you need.
  • Mentorship and buddies: You’ll be connected with a buddy from the grad alumni and networking to help you find a mentor in your field
  • Exciting projects: Immerse yourself in cyber security and quantum cryptography, and enjoy the opportunity to work on Greenfield projects.
  • Collaboration: Incubate and accelerate ideas to deliver products and services in collaboration with customers, partners, start-ups and industry.
  • Innovation: Tap into your creative potential and set free your inner entrepreneur by participating in design and in-house hackathons.
  • Community involvement: Make a difference to your world outside work through volunteering.
