Our Advanced Analytics Program is meticulously designed to transform you into a well-rounded Advanced Analytics professional with a comprehensive understanding of the business.

As a valued member of our team, you’ll discover how data can shape business decisions and create real impact.

Throughout the program, you’ll build your technical skills using tools like SQL, Python, AWS, and Teradata. You’ll also explore how AI-powered data capabilities can streamline the way we work and boost efficiency.

By working with large and complex datasets, you’ll learn how to uncover insights that lead to meaningful outcomes for our customers.

Together, we’ll turn data into action—and action into results.

Your rotations

Over your 18-month program, you’ll take part in three exciting rotations that will give you hands-on experience across different areas of the business. These rotations are designed to grow your business understanding and Advanced Analytics skills by immersing you in retail banking customer analytics teams such as:

  • Channel teams - voice, messaging, and branch
  • Product teams - Everyday Banking, Home Buying, Consumer Finance, Digital, or Wealth & Private

Beyond your rotations, you’ll also join distinctive Retail Banking Services experiences that will help you sharpen your problem-solving and communication skills—and apply them in real-world advanced analytics challenges.

Your development & experience

Our program offers multiple professional development opportunities through interactive in-person workshops, learning modules, training courses, and company-wide graduate conferences. You will explore key topics such as emotional intelligence, customer immersion, and stakeholder management, equipping you with essential skills for your career journey.

Additionally, you will have access to a large support network and community throughout the program, including a dedicated Program Manager, ensuring you have the guidance and resources needed to succeed.

Data Science

Working on solving some of the most complex data centric problems facing today's businesses.

You’ll help deliver a customer centric approach, managing and reimagining products and services to improve the experience of our customers.

Your rotations

Our flexible 12–18-month program offers you a tailored experience over 2-3 rotations where we'll support you in navigating our vast tech ecosystem. You can gain exposure in data science, behavioural science, advanced analytics, quantitative & predictive modelling, AI & machine learning (ML), Large Language Models (LLMs), data engineering, and more. 

Your development and experience

Kick-start your learning journey with a bespoke Data Science Essentials Bootcamp & Modelling Project. You will learn technical skills, tools and approaches to Data Science at the bank. You’ll then work on a real business problem while being coached and mentored by practitioners who are known across the industry for their incredible thought leadership and experience.

During your first year, you will be part of a group-wide learning program to build your professional, organisational and leadership skills. You’ll also join a huge network of technology graduates, supported by managers focused on your personal and professional growth.

As you progress your career there are a variety of career paths available including Individual Contributor, Technical Leader and People Leader.

We have roles available in Sydney (Warrang) and Melbourne (Naarm).
