The global marketplace is as diverse as our client base. As such, we need a range of talent from a broad range of academic backgrounds and experience.
The Global Markets Summer Analyst roles are ideal for students who are passionate about working in the Global Financial Markets. The Program will provide you with the opportunity to join one of our teams listed above, however you’ll also gain exposure to a number of other teams across Global Markets through dedicated learning sessions, desk sits, networking events with senior leaders, trading simulation games and much more.
In this 10-week Program, starting around late November, you’ll become part of a collaborative and inclusive trading floor and take on meaningful and tangible work. Your day-to-day tasks will vary depending on the area:
- Trading: Pricing foreign exchange products or building interest rate curves
- Sales: Helping with client pitches or creating financial models to evaluate hedging strategies
- Quantitative Solutions and Systematic Markets: Supporting the build out of a derivative pricing tool or app for usage within Global Markets
- Structuring: Working on client thematics or bespoke client structures and solutions across all products
Whichever area you’re in, you’ll experience a fast-paced, dynamic work environment and learn first-hand how we create value for our clients.
Alongside extensive training and networking opportunities, you’ll be supported by a buddy and dedicated Program Manager, who’ll work with your team and Manager to ensure your success throughout the Program.
This is the perfect launch-pad for your future in Global Markets. Please note, the Global Markets Graduate roles do not form part of our group-wide Graduate Program. If successful, you’ll receive an offer for a specific area in Global Markets.
