About Bankwest Risk Management
In the Bankwest Risk Graduate Program, you’ll gain exposure to the inner workings of a bank and understand the importance of managing credit, strategic and operational risk and compliance in Bankwest. Colleagues on this two year graduate program will work closely with the wider CBA group to help establish risk frameworks. You will also develop risk policies, principle standards, methodologies and measurements and support Bankwest’s risk culture.
Bankwest Risk Management supports Bankwest to effectively optimise returns while managing risk within its appetite. We provide operational and compliance risk advice and oversight, develop and implement credit strategy and credit analytics and implement Group risk frameworks within Bankwest. We also make retail and business credit decisions, undertake Bankwest’s retail collections and recoveries activities and provide hardship solutions to Bankwest customers.
This two year structured program includes four, six-month rotations. It will give you a thorough introduction to risk management at Bankwest. You’ll have the opportunity to help establish risk frameworks, including developing risk policies, principle standards, methodologies and measurements to ensure the management of risks within our agreed risk parameters.
You may also help manage the Bankwest aggregate risk profile, and identity, assess and report risks to the board, audit committees, executive committee and to our large number of businesses.
