Rates & fees

The $15 account fee includes:

  • 40 free cheque and staff-assisted transactions including quick deposits
  • Unlimited electronic transactions
  • Free withdrawals from any of our 4,000 ATMs across Australia

If you keep a balance of $15,000 or more, we'll waive the $15 fee.

Transaction fees

Once you've used up your 40 free transactions, you'll pay for the following:

  • Quick deposits $0.20
  • Cheque transactions $1.50
  • Staff-assisted transactions $2.50
  • Over-the-counter withdrawals $2.50
  • Cheques cashed or drawn in branch $2.50

Things you should know

1 Excludes non-Commonwealth Bank ATMs and all ATMs overseas, EFTPOS transactions overseas, transfer group payments to third parties, international money transfers and separate services such as bank cheques, periodic payments and transfers/deposits to other banks. Separate fees apply to transactions made using NetBank and CommBiz.

Limit of one, up to $500 without a card withdrawal per day. CommBank app, NetBank, NetCode and account access required. Full conditions on app.

3 If you have another director and/or any shareholders who own 25% or more of your company’s shares directly or through other shareholdings, they will need to complete an online ID check as well. Your account will be created in NetBank and you’ll be able to put money into it, but you won’t be able to withdraw or transfer out of it until we’ve confirmed the identity of the other directors and/or shareholders of your company.
