How to apply

  • Who can apply?

    All CommBank customers with NetBank, who permanently live in Australia and are:

    • 18 to 65 
    • an Australian citizen or
    • an Australian permanent resident or
    • a New Zealand citizen
  • What's not included

    You won’t be covered for death or terminal illness1 if it’s a result of criminal activity, war, riot, suicide or self-inflicted injury.

Things you should know

  • 1 Terminal illness means the diagnosis of an illness that is likely to result in death within 24 months of the diagnosis regardless of any treatment that may be undertaken.

    2 The maximum amount of cover that you can take out depends on your age.

    3 Apply for a yearly increase of up to 5% of your Sum Insured under the ‘Cost of Living’ feature or a one-off increase up to 10% if a specified Life Event occurs under the ‘Life Event’ feature. See the PDS for more details.
