You can find a summary of the interest you’ve earned on your accounts and paid on loans, quickly and easily.

Go to Interest & tax summary in NetBank.

Use Advanced search to filter your transaction history by financial year, print a copy or export your transactions into accounting packages like MYOB, Quicken or Excel.

You can also choose Show recently closed accounts to see if you’ve earned interest on those too. The Bank is obliged to provide interest information to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO) on an annual basis via the Annual Investment Income Report so the ATO knows about your interest income.

If you’re using MyGov, you can choose to have your bank interest details automatically pre-filled in your tax return.
