Small Business & Corporate Banking is the relationship-focused arm of Business Banking division within Commonwealth Bank. We connect and partner with businesses to grow, improve and safeguard their financial wellbeing. Our segment spans the nation’s most innovative, dynamic, specialist and diverse sectors – everything from start-ups to mature companies. We manage relationships with all types of businesses, from small and middle-sized all the way up to larger corporates turning over up to $500 million.
Product, Governance & Customer Solutions
Risk (Controls Office) enables effective management of non-financial risks, to support Business Banking’s strategy. Our purpose is to identify and manage risk by implementing effective controls to achieve the right outcomes for our Business Banking customers and our division.
Regional and Agribusiness Banking (RAB) is the face of the business bank outside of major capital cities. All face-to-face commercial banking relationships outside of Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide are managed by RAB, as well as all agribusiness relationships.

This uniquely structured 18-month program includes four rotations that will allow you to either specialise or experience vastly different areas within the Business Banking teams. Through these rotations you’ll gain an in-depth understanding of the Business Banking division and have direct exposure to clients. You’ll also develop technical skills, analytical sales and/or relationship-building capabilities. Some rotations may include state-based travel.
This 10-week program offers exposure across our diverse business as you work in your elected specialist area. You’ll receive training and networking opportunities, be supported by a buddy and have the chance to contribute meaningfully to our business.
