Turn Transaction Notifications on and we’ll tell you instantly when you pay or are charged for something on your CommBank debit and credit card.

And to help with your budgeting, we’ll let you know when a payment goes in to your everyday account too.

Turn notifications on

Currently available for all CommBank debit card holders and for CommBank credit card customers with no additional cardholders.

  1. Log on to the CommBank app
  2. View accounts
  3. Tap your debit or credit card account
  4. Tap the settings cog in the top right hand corner
  5. Switch Transaction Notifications to on.

But that’s only half the story. We then categorise your debit and credit card spend with Spend tracker & insights in the CommBank app.

It can give you a better idea what you’re spending your money on and help you decide if (and where) you can cut back or set a credit card spending cap. And if you see a transaction with an unfamiliar business name you can check that too. Here's a taster:

Transaction Notifications are only available in the CommBank app to all debit card cardholders and to CommBank credit cardholders with no additional cardholder.

Full terms and conditions available on the CommBank app. The CommBank app is free to download however your mobile network provider charges you for accessing data on your phone. The CommBank app is available on Android operating systems 4.1+ and iOS operating system 8.0+. Terms and conditions are available on the app. NetBank access with NetCode SMS is required.
