The SMSF Plan is a purpose-built insurance plan for members of a Self-Managed Superannuation Fund (SMSF). The SMSF Plan offers life insurance, TPD, accidental death and income protection cover held inside super. The members of the SMSF can choose to hold these products individually or packaged together.

The SMSF Plan has been designed specifically to align with legislation to help prevent benefits being tied up in the super fund before being released to the member.

There are other important factors to consider when deciding on your insurance needs. It’s important you fully understand the features and benefits of the SMSF Plan and you can read more about them in the CommInsure Protection Combined Product Disclosure Statement and Policy.

Your financial adviser can help you work out whether the SMSF Plan will suit your needs.

If you don’t have a financial adviser, a Commonwealth Financial Planner may be able to help you. To arrange a no-obligation consultation, simply call 1800 241 996.
