What do I need to do before I can transfer money overseas in NetBank?

To send an International money transfer (IMT) online through NetBank, you must:
- Be registered for NetCode SMS or NetCode Token.
Not registered for NetCode SMS? Simply log on to NetBank, go to the 'More' tab then select 'NetCode security'.
- Set your daily IMT limit. For your security, when you register for NetBank, your IMT limit is set to $0.
To set up your daily international limit, simply log on NetBank, go to the 'More' tab, select 'Security' and then 'Payment limits' or follow the onscreen prompts to set up a limit in the International money transfer form in NetBank.
Alternatively, please call 13 2221 (+61 2 9999 3283 if you are overseas) at any time or visit a branch.
You are assigned a maximum daily limit but you can request to increase it. If you do, your liability for unauthorised transactions may also increase. You are able to update your daily international transfer limit to $5,000 in NetBank. If you would like to send an IMT for an amount more than this limit, you can call us on 13 2221 or visit us at any branch and we will be able to assist you.
