The Smart Health terminal can act as a standalone device to process health claims, or integrate with leading Practice Management Software (PMS)3 and making claiming easier than ever. 

With our dedicated online portal Smart Health Hub, you will be able to access transactions and reporting in near real time. Eligible customers can process scheme claims for WorkSafe Victoria4.

Industry first sign-on-glass technology allows you to digitally capture your patients’ consent for their health claims benefits to be paid. Declarations are securely stored in the CommBank Smart Health Hub - removing the need to physically store patient signatures.

Manage Medicare and private health claims

  1. Register your providers online in the Smart Health Hub - it's quick and easy. 
  2. Patients use their Medicare or private health fund card on our Smart Health terminal or approve their claims using their phones through supported health fund apps2.
  3. Gap payments or Medicare rebates are processed on the Smart Health terminal in a single transaction, via patient’s debit or credit card.
  4. Receipts and patient Medicare and private health insurance declarations are instantly visible in the CommBank Smart Health Hub, where they'll be stored securely.
