It works like a debit card and you can use it in-store, over the phone, online, or at ATMs. You can lock in exchange rates for budget certainty and manage your funds on-the-go via the CommBank app or NetBank.
Use a CommBank Travel Money Card to pay with $0 international transaction fees, no load fees or monthly account fees. You'll also avoid surprise exchange rate movements by preloading currencies before you travel for budget certainty.
Some merchants may offer to convert your payment into your home currency and charge high fees for this service. This is called Dynamic Currency Conversion, and it often comes with extra charges. If given the option, always choose to pay in the local currency. This helps you avoid unnecessary merchant fees.
