Travel insurance

When travelling overseas, it's reassuring to know you can be protected by your credit card Complimentary International Travel Insurance.

Simply use your CommAwards points and/or your CommBank Gold, Platinum or Diamond card to prepay for your tickets and accommodation to the value of $1,000 or more per eligible traveller before you leave Australia.^

You, your spouse and dependent children will be covered if you get sick or injured, or have your belongings stolen while overseas.

You could also be covered for other expenses such as unexpected delays to your flights, arranging alternative transport, unexpected medical bills and cancellation costs.^

As with any insurance policy, there are some exclusions, limitations and eligibility criteria, so before you go it's important to understand what you're covered for.^
