There are ways to ensure a notification is actually legitimate:

  • The SMS will be sent to you by 61488728596
  • The SMS should include the name of the person sending you the payment
  • The SMS will never ask you to respond.  We will always direct you to www.commbank.com.au/collect to collect your payment.  You can type this URL directly into your browser.
  • If you're ever unsure, call us on 13 2221 at any time.
