Employees cannot make cash withdrawals unless they’re an authorised signatory on the business account.

If an employee is an authorised signatory, and it’s an eligible business account, a maximum daily withdrawal limit of up to $500 applies per CommBank app user, per day.

If the business account requires more than one authorised signatory for cash withdrawals, QR Cardless cannot be used to make withdrawals.

When an employee uses QR Cardless to make a cash deposit, they can’t access the business account or see its balance. The employee will only receive a receipt in the app showing:

  • Account name, number and BSB
  • Deposit description
  • Deposit amount

Employees need a device that supports the latest version of the CommBank app. This can be either a personal or business-issued device.

Please return any unwanted Deposit Only Cards (DOC) and Quick Cash Bags to your nearest CommBank branch so we can record and destroy them safely and securely.
