How to apply

Here's how the application process works. 

1. Give us a call

  • We’ll discuss your eCommerce needs, ask for all required information and complete your application
  • We may ask for more information e.g. bank statements from other financial institutions

2. Review your application

  • We’ll email you your final application form to review
  • If no signature is required, we'll fast track your application for approval
  • If we need a physical signature, we'll email your application to you to sign and return

3. Get approved

  • If approved, we'll send you a confirmation letter with your merchant facility ID
  • It can take 5-7 days for processing

4. Set up your service

You’ll receive a welcome email with a temporary password to log into your account. 

Start your application

  • You’ll need

    • A business trading name registered with ASIC
    • A business transaction account to settle your sales to, or if you don't have one we can set up a CommBank Business Transaction Account3
  • Website requirements

    Your website must clearly display:

    • Terms and conditions
    • Privacy policy
    • Refunds Policy, Dispatch & Deliveries Policy if you sell goods
    • Images and description of goods and services you are offering are clearly visible
    • Current contact details, including phone number, email address and trading address in Australia
    • shipping /delivery information is required if you’re selling goods via their website
    • You must also make sure your Australian business trading name matches the primary name you use on your website


  • Have these details handy

    • Business contact information, including phone and email
    • Australian Business Number (ABN), business structure and registered address
    • Financial information, including yearly turnover, average transaction value, start date
    • Details of every director, partner or trustee depending on your business structure. This includes birth date, residency and occupation information

To enable Apple Pay on your BPOINT Hosted Payment Page or API, please contact your Relationship Manager or our Merchant Support Helpdesk on 1800 230 177 (option 1, 3, 1) Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm (AEST). Please refer to the BPOINT Developer Centre for instructions on how to enable Apple Pay on your BPOINT API.
