Getting your EFTPOS machine

1. Apply online

After you've applied online, we'll call within 48 hours to make sure the product is right for your business. 
We may ask for these details
  • Australian Business Number (ABN), business structure and registered address
  • Financial information including bank statements, yearly turnover and average transaction sizes of existing debit and credit cards
  • Depending on your business structure, details or every director, partner or trustee including date or birth, residence type and occupation

2. Review your application

  • We’ll email you your final application form to review
  • If no signature is required, we'll fast track your application for approval
  • If we need a physical signature, we'll email your application to you to sign and return

3. Get approved

  • If approved, we'll send you a confirmation letter with your merchant facility ID

4. Receive your terminal

  • You can choose to receive a text message confirming when your terminal will arrive
  • Our technicians will deliver your terminal
  • Delivery takes at least 3 days for metro and 5 days for regional locations

Things you should know

Everyday Settlement is available on transactions made until 10pm AEST for eligible customers with a CommBank business transaction account and a linked CommBank merchant facility.

Excess usage fees of 1.5% applies to any monthly card turnover over your included amount. Additional fees and charges may apply, including $30 chargeback fee (per chargeback), $110 recovery and data removal fee, and $500 terminal non-return fee. The full fee list will be sent to you once your application is processed.

3 4 hour device replacement service is available for metro. 3-5 business days for remote areas. Remote area is anywhere which is not serviced by a technician, and only phone support is available.
