Gather your documents:

  • Business contact information, including phone and email
  • Australian Business Number (ABN), business structure and registered address
  • Financial information, including monthly turnover and average card transaction sizes
  • Details of every director, partner or trustee depending on your business structure. This includes birth date, residency and occupation information.

Apply online if:

  • You're a sole trader or own a private company and are registered with ASIC
  • You want 1.1% flat rate transaction pricing and you make no more than $1,000,000 per year in card transactions
  • You need up to 5 EFTPOS terminals
  • You want to settle to a CommBank Business Transaction Account.8

    4 Same day settlement is available on all EFTPOS transactions made before 9.30pm (Sydney/Melbourne time) and all eCommerce transactions made before 5:30pm (Sydney/Melbourne time) for eligible customers with a CommBank Business Transaction Account and a linked CommBank merchant facility.

    5 App Marketplace available on the Smart terminal only with additional apps coming soon. App Marketplace is not available on Smart Mini or Smart Integrated. 

    6 Replacement within 4 business hours in all locations except remote areas. 3 to 5 business days for remote areas. A remote area is not serviced by a technician and only phone support is available.
