CommBank Yello is our rewards and recognition program, designed to help you get more from your banking. Eligible customers can enjoy personalised offers, discounts, presale access and exclusive experiences, plus earn and redeem CommBank Yello points through eligible shopping, travel and other Yello offers. While this card doesn't earn CommBank Yello Points on everyday purchases, you can still access a range of CommBank Yello benefits and rewards.
Other fees may apply so check our standard fees and charges and read the key facts about our credit cards.
Customers who apply between the campaign dates, meet the spend criteria and are not excluded as per the T&Cs are eligible for the campaign.
Your spending period starts from the day your card is opened. For your first spend period, we've combined the first two billing periods to give you extra time to meet the first spend criteria. After that, spending periods will match your statement periods until the offer condition ends.
Cash advances and refunds are not included as eligible transactions.
Cashback is awarded up to 90 days after each statement period ends.
Digital cards appear immediately after the account is established on your CommBank App. Add this to your digital wallet and you can start spending straight away!
CommBank Yello customers can be rewarded when making a booking through Travel Booking~
When switching, you won't be eligible for offers advertised to new customers.

# Offer commenced 15 March 2026 and is only available on new Low Fee credit cards applied for. Offer not available to customers who currently hold, or have held, any activated Low Rate or Low Fee card types in the 24 months prior as a primary cardholder or customers who switch from other card types.
$40 cashback will be awarded for every month (statement period) in which $500 or more is spent on eligible purchases, for up to six eligible statement periods. Maximum cashback available is $240. The first eligible spend period will commence from the day your account is opened, up to the end of your second statement period after account opening. This means your first eligible spend period may be longer than one statement period. After this date, the offer spend requirements will align to each statement period that follows, for up to six eligible statement periods in total.
Total spend per statement period is based on the transaction date (the date the purchase is made). Transactions must be fully processed and posted to your account within 14 days of the transaction date to be eligible and will be allocated to the statement period in which the transaction date occurred. This means a transaction may appear on a later statement but still be counted toward the minimum spend requirement for an earlier statement period. Cash advances and refunds are not included as eligible transactions. Refunds processed in a statement period will reduce your eligible spend for that statement period, meaning you will need to spend an additional amount equal to the refund to meet the minimum spend requirement for that period, regardless of when the original transaction occurred.
Cashback will be credited within 90 days of the end of each eligible statement period where the spend criteria has been met and will appear on your statement as ‘CASHBACK’. You will be ineligible for the cashback if your account is closed, switched to another card or in default at any time prior to the cashback being credited to your account.
Offer only available on one credit card per customer. We reserve the right to close or vary this offer at any time
1 For Low Fee credit cards, there is no monthly fee when you spend at least $300 on your Low Fee credit card in your statement period to qualify for no monthly fee for that month. Otherwise the monthly fee is $3. Spend includes all purchases and cash advances made using your Low Fee credit card, minus any refunds. This is for all transactions fully processed in the given statement period (not pending transactions).

5 You won't be able to apply for an instalment plan if you don't meet our criteria (e.g. if you have exceeded your limit or you are in default). Instalment plans are not available on CommBank Neo, Interest-free Low Fee credit card, Business Interest Free-Days credit card, Business Low Rate credit card, corporate cards or balance transfers. The terms of the CommBank Credit Card Conditions of Use relating to instalment plans (section 5) applies for all cards except for the Interest-free Low Fee card, which is covered by the Interest-free Low Fee terms and Conditions.
While you have an instalment plan, payments to your credit card will be applied in the following order:
This means that your current monthly instalment payments are always paid first, even if you have other balances with higher interest rates (such as cash advances or purchases not in a plan). If you have multiple plans, payments will be applied to the plans in order of highest to lowest interest rate, or if all plan interest rates are the same, from oldest to newest.
Any interest-free period on purchases will no longer apply once the purchase is put on a plan.
You can cancel your instalment plan at any time. When a cancellation is processed, the outstanding instalment balance will be transferred to your purchases balance (or cash advance balance for cancelled cash advance plans) and accrue interest from the transfer date at your account’s standard purchase (or cash advance) rate, which may have changed from when you first set up your SurePay plan.
If you miss a monthly instalment payment, the unpaid instalment amount for that month will be returned to your main balance and you’ll be charged interest at your accounts standard purchase (or cash advance) rate, which may have changed from when you first set up your SurePay plan. If you cancel a plan this will also apply to any outstanding balance.
If you miss three consecutive payments we’ll automatically cancel your SurePay plan. You won’t be charged a fee if your plan is cancelled – however any outstanding balance will be transferred back to your purchase (or cash advance) rate and added to the total owing on your latest statement on the cancellation date. From the transfer date, you’ll be charged interest at your accounts standard purchase (or cash advance) rate. Please refer to your most recent statement to confirm your card's current interest rate as this may have changed since you first set up your SurePay plan.
