Bio

Peter Switzer is one of Australia’s leading business and financial commentators. An award-winning broadcaster, twice runner up for the Best Current Affairs Commentator award for radio, behind broadcaster Alan Jones and former lecturer in economics at the University of NSW, Peter is currently a weekly columnist for Yahoo!7 and a regular contributor to The Australian newspaper. In addition, he also hosts the Super Show on Radio 2GB Sydney and 3MTR Melbourne and Switzer, on SKY News Business Channel.

In conversation with Peter Switzer, Craig will cover a broad economic update and provide insights and opportunities for business growth given the current/forecasted economic climate.

You may recognise Craig James from his regular appearances on television, radio and in newspaper interviews or have read one of his economic commentaries.

Craig’s role is Chief Economist, CommSec, interpreting ‘big picture’ economic and financial trends for customers, clients and staff. He was previously Chief Economist at Colonial, has worked at the Australian Financial Review as a senior writer and been in banking, finance and journalism for over 30 years.

Both Craig and his economist Savanth Sebastian regularly provide commentaries on economic and financial trends, contributing to CommSec’s position as one of the most quoted institutions in Australian media.

Agenda

Amantha will take you through the latest scientific findings in relation to what really drives highly inventive and intelligent thinking. 

In addition, she will take you through examples of how businesses are using technology in innovative and effective ways, and get you thinking about what inspiration you could take from these technology applications to apply back in your own business.
