Simple Merchant Plan

  • Like a phone plan, our Simple Merchant Plan covers all your EFTPOS machine costs. It’s what most of our customers choose
  • It's available for the Essential Lite machine
  • You get terminal rental, card transactions and a capped turnover allowance for one monthly fee
  • You can call to change your plan if you’re forecasting higher sales for upcoming months.

Pay per transaction

  • You’ll receive a Fee schedule which is a document that sets out the fees that you’ll pay
  • Fees include Merchant Service Fees, which is charged per transaction, Interchange Fees, which are set by the card schemes (Visa & MasterCard)
  • You can use Merchant Choice Routing for more control over your fees.

How to apply

  • You can start the application process online, or give us give us a call 
  • You’ll need to supply the following information:
    • Australian Business Number (ABN), business structure and registered address
    • Financial information including bank statements, yearly turnover and average transaction sizes of existing debit and credit cards
    • Depending on your business structure, details of every director, partner or trustee including date of birth, residence type and occupation.

Things you should know

1 Available to eligible customers with a Commonwealth Bank business transaction account and a linked Commonwealth Bank eligible merchant facility. ‘Same day’ includes all card sales made before 10pm (AEST). Third party products not included, which includes payments from Medicare and private health funds for claims processed. Everyday Settlement applies to EFTPOS and gap payments, which are treated as normal credit/debit transactions (for Commonwealth Bank account holders). Funds received by a practice for Medicare and private health funds claims are processed by the relevant organisation (Medicare or private health fund) according to its timeframes.

2 Everyday Settlement is available on all EFTPOS transactions made before 10.00pm (AEST) and all eCommerce transactions made before 5:30pm (AEST) for eligible customers with a Commonwealth Bank business transaction account and a linked Commonwealth Bank merchant facility.
