What you’ll need

  • A business trading name registered with ASIC
  • A bank account to settle your business sales to. If you don't have one, you can apply for a CommBank Business Transaction Account9.

Have these details handy 

  • Business contact information, including phone and email
  • Australian Business Number (ABN), business structure and registered address
  • Financial information, including monthly turnover and average card transaction sizes
  • Details of every director, partner or trustee depending on your business structure. This includes birth date, residency and occupation information

5 Least Cost Routing is also known as Merchant Choice Routing. A reference in the Merchant Agreement dated 1 April 2020 to Merchant Choice Routing is also a reference to Least Cost Routing. Only for eligible devices.

6 Replacement within 4 business hours in all locations except remote areas. 3 to 5 business days for remote areas. A remote area is not serviced by a technician and only phone support is available.

7 Joining fee of $250 applies if you settle to another financial provider.

8 Additional fees and charges including $500 terminal non-return fee if you need to replace a damaged EFTPOS machine or you don't return your machine once you've finished your plan and EFTPOS stationery order charged if you order new EFTPOS rolls and stationery for your machine. You may incur an upgrade fee of $149 per EFTPOS machine if you choose to upgrade.
