CANGive Bushfire Appeal

We've launched the CANGive Bushfire Appeal to support the Australian Red Cross bushfire disaster relief and recovery efforts.

In January 2020 we donated $250,000 to the Australian Red Cross. This support is in addition to the $1million we donated to the Australian Red Cross and Rural Aid earlier this summer in response to the ongoing drought.

In further support of the Australian Red Cross disaster relief efforts, staff of the Commonwealth Bank have raised $250,000 as part of a national fundraising day, which will also be dollar matched by the Bank.

We're supporting Australian Red Cross

Support in times of need

Funds raised through the CANGive Bushfire Appeal will assist Australian Red Cross to give people the support they need in disasters, whenever and wherever they happen.

Right now, in response to the bushfire emergency, Red Cross teams are supporting people at evacuation centres and recovery hubs and making wellbeing phone calls.
