CommBank's Emergency Assistance is for personal and business customers affected by unforeseen and disruptive risk events relating to natural disasters and pandemics. The support may include loan restructuring and waiving of selected fees and charges.

Emergency Assistance options

Our Emergency Assistance can include:

  • Customised payment arrangements for your home loan, credit card, business lending or personal loan
  • Waiving fees and charges
  • Waiving fees and notice periods for early access to Term Deposits (including Cash Deposit and Farm Management Deposit accounts for eligible^ business customers)
  • Emergency accommodation assistance for CommInsure Residential Home Insurance customers whose homes have been damaged by bushfire, flood or storms
  • Expedited CommInsure claims for customers claiming on their home and contents insurance
  • Deferring business loan repayments for eligible* business customers
  • Refund of merchant terminal fees for up to 90 days for eligible^ business customers
  • Specialised tailored support for larger business customers
