Things you should know

  • 1You can make additional payments of up to $10,000 for each year of your fixed loan, without incurring an Early Repayment Adjustment (ERA) and an Administrative Fee (excluding Interest in Advance terms). These additional payments aren’t available through redraw until after your fixed rate term expires. We count a year as 12 months from the date you commence your fixed rate term and every 12 months after that. If you make additional payments during a fixed rate term, or had available redraw when you entered your fixed rate term, the amount available for redraw at the end of the fixed rate term may be lower. This is because the amount is adjusted so that at the end of your contracted loan term, both your loan balance and the available redraw will be zero.

Have an eligible CommBank transaction account; make 15+ eligible transactions from an eligible account/s; and keep an eligible balance of $50K for any 15 days (or more) OR have a CommBank combined funded home loan/s less than $1M (most recent funded amount).

20 Figure based on CommBank’s 20.54% Australian Prudential Regulation Authority (APRA) market share as of June 2026 (includes Unloan; excludes RMG).

21 Includes Australian Government 5% Deposit Scheme, Australian Government Help to Buy Scheme, Lenders Mortgage Insurance (LMI), Low Deposit Premium (LDP), and Guarantor Support.

22 Data reflects CommBank branch, mobile and direct Home Lending Specialists in Australia as of 30/06/2026. Excludes Premier Banking, Business Home Lending and Private Banking specialists.

23 Data represents home ownership through Australian Government 5% Deposit Scheme backbook as at 30/06/2026.

^ Comparison rate calculated on a $150,000 secured loan over a 25-year term. WARNING: Comparison rate is true only for the examples given and may not include all fees and charges. Different terms, fees or other loan amounts might result in a different comparison rate. Comparison rates for variable Interest Only loans are based on an initial 5-year Interest Only period. Comparison rates for fixed Interest Only loans are based on an initial Interest Only period equal in length to the fixed period. During an interest only period, your interest only payments will not reduce your loan balance. This may mean you pay more interest over the life of the loan.

Applications for finance are subject to the Bank's normal credit approval. Full terms and conditions are included in the Loan Offer. Other fees and charges are payable.

~  We charge the Rate Lock Fee when we process your request. It is therefore important that you have sufficient funds in your nominated account. The Rate Lock feature only applies to new Fixed Rate home loan and Fixed Rate Investment home loan applications. Rate Lock does not apply to Home Seekers, switching, splitting, top-ups, loan purpose transfers or repayment changes.

Rate Lock is an optional feature that allows you to lock in your reference interest rate for 90 days for a non-refundable fee. We lock in the reference interest rate applicable on the day we receive your completed Rate Lock request form.

The Rate Lock Fee will be charged to your home loan when the Rate Lock request is processed and this is when the Rate Lock period begins.

Rate Lock is only available on 1-5 year periods. Applies to each Fixed Rate loan that has selected the Rate Lock feature. Rate Lock can be requested up until funding and a non-refundable fee applies. At the end of the fixed rate period, the interest rate converts to the applicable Standard Variable Rate relevant to your loan purpose and repayment type at that time, less any applicable package discount specified in your Loan Contract.

#Wealth Package benefits apply to eligible home loans or line of credits, including any new Standard Variable Rate and Fixed Rate home loans originated on and from 14 March 2026. A non-refundable annual fee of $395 is payable in advance. The package can be established in the name of one or two individual’s name/s, or in the name of a corporate entity. It cannot be established in the name of a business or family investment trust. Please refer to the applicable product guide and Consumer Mortgage Lending Products Terms and Conditions for full details.
