Pascal Boillat
Pascal Boillat is Group Executive, Technology and Group Chief Information Officer at the Commonwealth Bank. In this role Pascal leads the technology division, helping deliver the best digital banking services to Commonwealth Bank customers.
Pascal joined Commonwealth Bank in October 2018 and is responsible for information technology, technology infrastructure and digital delivery for all divisions across CBA. He is also responsible for security across Commonwealth Bank including cyber, fraud, physical security and business resilience.
He is an experienced technology and operations professional with more than 30 years’ experience in the financial services sector.
Prior to joining CBA, Pascal was Group Chief Information Officer at Deutsche Bank overseeing all aspects of technology and driving adoption of new innovation and automation across the organisation. He joined Deutsche Bank as Chief Information Officer and Head of Operations, Corporate and Investment Banking.
Pascal was Chief Information Officer and Head of Operations and Technology at US mortgage market company Fannie Mae, where he was a member of the management committee. He has also worked in senior roles at Citi, BearingPoint, Capco, KPMG Consulting and Credit Suisse Group.
Pascal has an electronic engineering degree from Zurich, Switzerland.
