Getting started with CommBiz

Finding your log on credentials

  • To log on to CommBiz for the first time, you'll need your log on ID and temporary password.

You’ll have received these via SMS and email, in the mail as two separate letters, or from your Service Administrator.

If you cannot locate your log on details, please speak to your Service Administrator or contact the CommBiz Helpdesk 13 23 39.

Logging on

  • Go to CommBiz , enter your log on ID and temporary password

Next, you’ll be guided through a few quick steps to set up your CommBiz profile.

    1. Change your password and enter your email address.

    2. Set four security questions – Select a question, populate your answer and click Add. Once you've added four questions, click Next

If you forget your password, you'll need to go to the CommBiz log on screen, click Forgot your password? and follow the steps to reset it.

    3. If you’ve received a security token, click Activate now and follow the prompts . Otherwise click Next to skip this step.

    4. Click Change to choose a new log on ID that's easier to remember or click Finish to skip this step.

Activating your eToken

  • To access secure features on CommBiz, like making changes to a Service or authorising a transaction, two factor-authentication is required.

CommBiz eToken generates a one-time password for you to enter in addition to your log on ID and password. You’ll receive an email or your Service Administrator will let you know if you need eToken.

Before you can download the CommBiz app and activate your eToken, you need to verify your identity with the Bank.

    1. Configure the Date and time settings on your mobile device to Automatic. You can usually do this by selecting ‘Settings’, ‘General’, ‘Date and time’ on iOS and Android phones.

    2. Download the CommBiz app from the App Store (iOS) or Play Store (Android).

    3. Open the app and follow the prompts to register the app and Activate CommBiz eToken now (step 4). You’ll need to enter your four digit PIN to Generate token password each time you need one.

If you don’t see step 4, and haven’t activated eToken on any other device, eToken is not set up on your CommBiz Service. You may receive a security token in the mail, or your Service Administrator can call the CommBiz Helpdesk on 13 2339 to set up eToken on your Service.
