Everyday Account is the all-in-one bank account that gives you the flexibility to bank how you want. You have a variety of access options, the choice between a Debit MasterCard® or Keycard, and access to Australia’s largest banking network. We have the largest ATM network of any Australian bank, so it is easy to find an ATM near you. After hours, you can use NetBank and telephone banking to pay bills and transfer money.
You can also organise for your salary and other direct deposits to be paid straight into your Everyday Account, and link it to other Commonwealth Bank accounts to access and transfer funds.
Everyday Account Smart Access
Smart Access is designed for people who prefer to do their day-to-day banking electronically. It offers unlimited* Commonwealth Bank transactions, including ATM, internet and EFTPOS, for a low monthly account fee of $4.
The GoalSaver savings account helps boost your savings by offering a great variable bonus interest rate, as long as you increase your balance by at least $200 a month (excluding interest) and make no more than one withdrawal.
Setting up a regular savings plan takes the worry out of saving. You determine the date and amount you want to deposit, and we take care of the rest. Of course, you can change your plan whenever you like, so you won’t feel locked in.
Cash Investment Account
If you have excess funds, a Cash Investment Account could be the ideal place to grow your money while you plan your next move. Just set the date and amount you want to deposit, and we take care of the rest.
You will earn competitive daily interest on balances of $10,000 or more. Interest is calculated every day and credited monthly, so you’ll see the returns right away.
When you need access to your money, you can use ATMs, NetBank, EFTPOS, telephone banking or visit any Commonwealth Bank branch to withdraw your funds. We can also give you a cheque book to go with your account.
