We’re rolling out CommBiz NetLock software updates (browser included in the NetLock USB device) and certificate renewals from 16 May 2023.
Follow these steps if you have been unable to log into CommBiz via NetLock. Please note:
To ensure your device is using the latest software enhancements and security to protect you while using CommBiz. You’re required to install the critical NetLock updates when prompted.
Continue logging into CommBiz daily via the NetLock browser. When you receive the prompt, follow the steps until updates have been successfully installed.
If the update does not progress, check with your IT department to resolve any restrictions on USB enabled updates such as the ability to read/write onto an external USB device on your computer.
Refer above 'What you need to do' and ensure you are aware of the following points:
Once the updates have been successful, you need to re-launch CommBiz from the NetLock folder (NetLock.exe) and enter your log on credentials again to use CommBiz as per usual.
The updates can take up to 40 minutes to apply. Please be patient and do not unplug your NetLock device while the updates are installing.
If all updates to NetLock have been successful, you should be able to use the NetLock device to log on to CommBiz as usual by inserting the NetLock USB device and opening the NetLock.exe file, then logging on.
Unplugging your USB during the update may corrupt the device. If you're unable to log on after you've unplugged or ejected your NetLock device, please contact the CommBiz Helpdesk on 13 23 39.
